Dr. Brown is currently the pastoral intern at Grace Community Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his PhD in Biblical and Theological Studies: New Testament at Wheaton College. His dissertation analyzes the meaning and function of “the obedience of faith” in Romans. His research interests focus on New Testament Theology, Pauline Theology, Romans, and ancient Rhetoric and Epistolography. During his studies at Wheaton College, he taught Biblical Greek at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. Dr. Brown is currently working on an article on Paul’s use of Abraham as a rhetorical paradigm in Romans 4 and a book on faith and obedience in Romans. He and his wife, Melissa, have two children, Calvin and Adeline.
