Toward a Protestant Theology of the Body

On September 9, Greystone and its Lydia Center, in partnership with Church of the Resurrection and the Institute for Religion and Democracy, hosted a first-of-its-kind conference: “Toward a Protestant Theology of the Body.” The conference featured six thought-provoking presentations by internationally recognized speakers and gathered more than 150 attendees of various vocations. The success of the event shows not only the interest in a Protestant Theology of the Body but the vital need and hunger for theological anthropology. We hope to secure financial support in order to turn this one-time event into an annual series with intervening workshops. Stay tuned for more events in the future, and let us know if you’d like to support the series.

The lectures from our first conference are now available for the same $75 conference registration fee used for online participants. The proceeds of each purchase of this series are distributed evenly among the three sponsors to help offset the costs of the conference not covered by registration fees.
