Theology of the Holy Spirit

Greystone Theological Institute is pleased to announce a new full course resource now available on Greystone Connect. In Theology of the Holy Spirit, Dr. Robert Letham explores the doctrine of the Holy Spirit from biblical and theological angles.

This course first explores the dogmatic consensus of biblical interpretation in the history of the Church and then builds upon that foundation as guidance for hearing the Scriptures faithfully in our time. This course therefore starts with the official dogma of the Church before moving to consider the biblical material. This approach avoids the danger of inventing new constructions that lack the wisdom of the Spirit at work in the Church historically, thus rooting our current thinking in the Scriptures in the light of the historic consensus fidelium. What we seek is a properly biblical, conspicuously Christian, and freshly contemporary understanding of the person and work of the Spirit.
